Facebook Paper - new update

Paper app is technically the twin hit of Flappy Bird (now debunked).

But yeah, the Facebook PAPER APP for the iOS is only available (as of yet) via iDevices and no rumors yet as to when it shall be availabe on Andoid.

Here's the latest update, go DL it in your AppStore now.

NEWSER App (read less know more)

My favorite news reader has finally updated their iOS app into the latest format...

I got to discover this app back in 2009, it has been reliable and newsworthy with the inclusion of eye candy images with pumped news meat without the long reads.

That's basically my reason for rating it as an effective news bearer...

Loading is fast, flowing collection is absolutely reliable as their correspondents carefully mixed the latest news in the internet.

iBooks update minimalist

I just noticed lately the clean squeaky feat of iOS AppStore's iBooks.

It's definitely a wow!

Indulge in reading.

How To Save Battery Juice without a battery pack?

Brightness on any device eats up a lot of energy. Enough said, you have to dim your phone's brightness.

You might wanna tinker too on the location and Push Options of your phone. Set those things to manual so that it can only activate whenever you're using those apps - by saying that, you should be killing apps running in the background.

What Is The Best IPhone Camera App?

Honestly, I'm sick of Instagram, PicStitch, Over, Adobe Express and other camera apps from the AppStore. They have their own domain of expertise and I get to be annoyed when switching to each of 'em just to achieve what I wanted.

I was thinking and dreaming of a free app where everything has it all:
- collage
- crop
- designs / built in captures
- frames
- edits
- texts overlays
- stamps
- easy sharing

Then I discovered LINE chat app back in 2013 sometime August I think?
And then it led me to download LINE CAMERA app, and my dream was realized.

Problem solved!
Bonus? It's so easy to use and navigate.

Go check the app and download it! It's for free.

Paper Facebook App - stories from FB

Finally, the new Facebook app is here - it's called Paper.

It's a must that you download it. It's better than the Facebook App.

It's wonderfully and tastefully created.

Go check it out in the App Store.

Facebook Post via iOS

Since the advent of IOS 7, the drop down widget for twitter and Facebook was obliterated.

So even if you use the Facebook app and do some posts, it wouldn't appear as
- via iOS

But instead, it shows as normal post.

So, what's the fix on this?

Actually, FB, Twitter and other apps are still integrated via Settings and the via iOS post would still appear whenever you use photos apps in posting and then use the sharing function (rectangle with arrow). It's not limited to the photo app, this feat is supported to every other app that has a capability of sharing using the iOS way.

But the big question is, how do we make it appear without using built-in apps and sharing functions?

The solution is Siri.

Use the Siri function to post - either manual write up or by saying it outloud.
And the output should give you the via iOS tagline.

Facebook Camera

If you browse the AppStore nowadays, you'd get a million camera apps, photography apps that can seem endless, at times you can't know which one to choose.

Below is the new addition to the flock, this time it's from the social network giant trying to invade the domain of Photoshop express Instagram.

It's called Facebook camera. A dull way to name an app, nevertheless, Facebook is carries the flagship, hoping for this newly born app to live up to its expectations.

I've done downloaded the app, immediately you can notice something useful... It's responsiveness, it does blazing fast when browsing other pictures people via FB.

I haven't tested fully this FB Camera app but shall be unraveled here soon...

Hiding Notification from the Lockscreen

Definitely, you don't want those prying eyes poking around your notifications area whenever your iPhone's locked...

Especially if you tend to leave your phone even just by the coach or from security personnel...

Here's how you turn it off (see image above)
- Goto Settings
- General
- notifications center
- ensure that both are turned off under Lockscreen area

How To Take Care of Your iDevice Cables?

iDevice cables are inclusive of the different cables that Apple has created to get those iphones, ipads, macbooks and all other iDevice gadgets that needs recharging and that gets connected to an outlet or usb ports to simply achieve maintenance and updates.

Without those cables such as the lightning cable, dock connectors, magsafe cables for your macbooks, your gadgets won't stand to its fulfillment as a gizmo.

So? How do we take care of it to prevent from scratches, bending (that results to cable distortion and cutting) and all other types of harmful effects? I had attended an Apple Training from PowerMAC Center (a certified Apple Training Center) here in the Philippines and saw the catchy style imprinted from one of the trainers' iphone 5 cable (the lightning connector). I then told her to get it patented.

Look at the image below to have a visual.

The nylon or string used can be as simple as those paperbag strings. Go check out the youtube Video on how to make those strings attached to your iDevice cables.

Great thanks to Trainer Joie!!!

I fained to always launch the multi-taskbar of the iphone just to switch from iBooks app to Wordweb app which is my favoritestest(did i mention, i loved this app so much?) lexicon on my phone.

I was reading Moby-Dick from iBooks one day when i tapped and held down a word accidentally and voila! i got the option to click a dictionary, so i tapped it then it prompted me to download the dict, i was overjoyed so much of this serendipitous click-clacking of my hands.

Now i can read literature with utmost comfy with just one tap away of the finger.
