Warning: Check your anti-virus!

A computing device is somewhat "i-can't-live-without-it"-nowadays. But some imperfections arises from time to time. Let's take a look on this(raise your hand if you don't know McAfee!):

Am laughing deep inside as i came across about the mess which McAfee has done after releasing a virus definition update causing some of their corporate subscribers' machines repeatedly shutting down. Please check full details from lifehacker.

I don't actually trust McAfee eversince, the days are still imprinted on my mind re "cannot connect to secured websites", "freezing issues" - unless you tweak and configure nicely the McAfee settings, then you're all set.

I'm a PC user from the start of my computing journey(although i wanna own a MAC), and i never installed anti-virus or security suite on my PC (from windows 98, XP, Vista, 7), until just recently (5 months ago hehehe), someone(that's make-use-of-dot-com) introduced to me about Microsoft Security Essentials.

So far, it's living up to my expectations. Honestly! this Security Essentials from Microsoft is doing its wonders on my windows 7 system. It's been a long time that i didn't do a clean format.

and the good thing about it? It's for free!!! as long as your windows is genuine. ;)
